Ochsner Health Archives went from software selection to online public access in record time with Eloquent Archives. The public can explore their rich heritage with any mobile device or desktop browser.

The University of New Brunswick Archives go online with Eloquent Archives

image for New Brunswick UniversityThis case study of UNB, established in 1785, includes several direct links into the universities’ online archives database – a great way to discover their rich heritage!

The University of New Brunswick’s Archives & Special Collections department has been in existence since 1931, gathering the rich history of UNB which was established in 1785. In that same year, the library moved to the top floor of what used to be called the Old Arts Building, now referred to as Sir Howard Douglas Hall. (Click image for larger view.)

Louisiana State University in Shreveport celebrates 50th Anniversary with an online Historical Timeline

LSUS logoLSUS will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2018 and to promote the celebration and their rich history the university archives has published a sample online Timeline. The administration was very impressed and approved more resources to complete the project.

Vancouver, BC – April 5, 2017 – Eloquent Systems is pleased to announce that Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSUS) has implemented the Historical Timeline module available in their new mobile-friendly Eloquent Archives system. The content for the timeline is entered into the archives database where it can link to content already there. It is published to the Internet with the click of the mouse and becomes available to everyone including Google and other search engines.

Eloquent Systems Inc. has been owned and operated by its founder, Merv Richter, since 1975. It is incorporated in the Province of British Columbia and operates from an office in Greater Vancouver. He started the company under the name Easy Data Inc. after a short career with IBM. The business developed, sold, and supported several software packages for the emerging minicomputer market.
