The University of New Brunswick’s Archives & Special Collections department has been in existence since 1931, gathering the rich history of UNB which was established in 1785. Maria recommends starting to build your online archives database as soon as they are accessioned. Do not forget about them in the backlog.

Pictures are more memorable than words and encourage your audience to discover more about you and your online database. The visual impact allows viewers to take in content in a much shorter amount of time. They are also more likely to share what they find with their “friends” on social media.

LSUS will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2018 and to promote the celebration and their rich history the university archives has published a sample online Timeline. The administration was very impressed and approved more resources to complete the project.
